La tecnología de identificación de la palma de la mano fue una de varias demostraciones durante un discurso de presentación del presidente ejecutivo de Intel, Justin Rattner en el foro. Rattner dirige Intel Labs, que se concentra en identificar y solucionar futuros problemas de tecnología.
Rattner también mostró prototipos de tecnología para mejorar las estaciones base de teléfonos móviles.
